Clik here to view.If you are an amateur blogger and just have started blogging with no one reading your posts don’t be disappointed. Everyone knows that successful blogging means loyal readers and some raving fans. You should know that you success hardly depends on what you are going to write next. It rather depends on all your posts. So better be careful while writing all your posts. Now the most important question, what to do when no one reads your post?
Let’s find out what may the reasons be
You should ask this question to yourself to know the answer. There may be numbers of reasons why you are lagging behind, which may include the following
- You may be repeating what others are doing.
- Your blog design may not be that appealing compared to others.
- You may forget to optimize your blog for the search engines.
- Most important of them all, do you really know what you are writing about?
There should be at least one reason why others are not interested in your blog. That is why you need to know what do your readers want from your blog? It may include:
- Regular updates
- Some great stuff which can immediately change their blogs after reading your posts
- Or maybe something else
So your aim should be is to find the specific reason first. Then on you can follow these steps which will help you attract more readers for sure.
1. Write 2000+ words articles twice a month
Now you may think that why should you write a detailed article? Let me get this straight. Do you know that 9 out of 10 bloggers write their blog posts with an average word count of 600 words? This helps you understand that if you want to make your presence feel in the crowd, the only way is to create detailed posts. But remember not every time you have to come up with detailed posts. I will not suggest this tip if you are a new blogger but what I want to suggest is to try to write detailed post twice a month. Then you can email that link to the influential bloggers to have a feedback about the post. If they find it useful they may share, tweet, comment or even like your post. This is the simplest way to have some attention from other bloggers to go through your post. All you have to do is to manage some time to write one or two detailed post a month. That’s it!
Now let’s move on to the next step.
2. You need to have some visibility online
If you are expecting your 2000+ article to go viral and having hundreds of shares and tweets, you have to accept the reality. It won’t happen that easily. You have to get some visibility for your best posts. Now the question is, how can you do that?
There are two old and simple methods for this.
- Blog commenting
- And guest blogging
There is another unique tip that I can give you is to promote others stuff on Facebook and Twitter instead of promoting only yours. This will surely give you some good results quickly.
There is the next step.
3. Give importance to your blog visitors
Your preference should be to give so much importance to your visitors that they don’t forget to visit your blog again. Now the question is, how?
You have to make sure that your blog design is appealing. If someone visits your blog for the first time, they should find it attractive as they have landed on a top notch blog. So you have to invest money for purchasing search engine friendly themes.
Make them feel good by responding to their comments. If you find yourself busy to reply them all then at least respond to the comments which need a reply.
Try to write your blog in a friendly tone which will help your readers to feel comfortable and never use abusive word
4. Try to turn visitors into readers and readers into loyal readers
Though this is the toughest part but it is the most important part as well. This is a long term approach. You can’t expect your visitor to become your loyal readers in a short time. What you need to do is to improve your blog posts to make someone loyal to your posts.
